Handmaiden Music

Psalm 29:11

The LORD will give strength unto His people; the LORD will bless His people with Peace."

A word from Elizabeth:

Most christian music flows in the direction of "the people toward God", yet this site's music flows from "God toward the people". God has "given me" spiritual songs to raise up obedient and committed disciples of Christ, and these instrumentals will bring you into the Lord's presence so Spirit-to-spirit communication takes place. This is my spiritual gift in operation for the edification of the Body of Christ.

Christ's Sermon in Song

(Beth Norland)

The Lord whispered instruction to Beth to put His "Sermon on the Mount" of Matthew 5-7  TO MUSIC, And said to her "My people need to hear MY WORDS, not JUST words!"

The Lord Jesus also said in John 6:63: "THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK TO YOU, THEY are SPIRIT and THEY are LIFE

Don't listen to this CD as if listening to "Beth" or "the music" . Please LISTEN to "Christ's Message" IN the music.  BE OPEN TO CHRIST.

As you would look "into a mirror" and reflect back "Your image" , Look "into these words" of Christ's that HE may reflect back "His image" in your life. Let His SPIRIT and LIFE be within YOU!

But I Say (Matt 5:21-48)

Only CHRIST in US can LIVE this standard.  I believe that is the point.  His righteousness in us is to come forth. We cooperate with Him as He speaks to us within, and transforms us through the renewing of our minds with the Word.

And lend when asked to borrow.

C

YOU HAVE HEARD IT SAID

 Am                           F      G

You are to love your neighbor

What Where Why (Matt 6:19-34)

C

I’m gonna ask you…

Am

All kinds of questions…

F

See if you can answer…

C

What?   Where?   Why?  Where?  Why?  What?  Where?  Why?

C

WHAT are we talking?

            Our TREASURES…

Am

WHERE should we put them?

                        In Heaven

F

WHY should we do this?

                                       G

On earth, they are stolen and cor-rup-ti-ble…

C

WHERE should we put them?

In Heaven

Am

WHERE they’ll ac-cum-u-late

            For-ev-er

F

WHY is this important?                     G

Where our treasure is… our heart will be also there

C

WHAT are we talking?

                        Our FOCUS

Am

WHERE should it be put?

                        On Father

F

WHY should we do this?

                        If our eye be single

                                         G

Our body will be full of light

C

WHERE should it not be

                        On Evil

Am

WHAT’S deemed as evil?

                        Love of Money

F

WHY should this not be?                            G

If our eye be evil, we’ll dwell in darkness

C

WHAT can be a “master”?

                        Our MONEY

Am

HOW do we serve it?

                        With thoughts and actions

F

WHY do we do this?                      G

Love for money             is greater than our love for God

C

WHERE do we think this?

                        In Worry

Am

WHERE do we do this?

In Struggling

F

WHY do we do this?                                       G

Our trust is in ourselves and money, not in our Provi-der.

C

WHAT are we talking?

                        Our SERVICE

Am

WHERE is it given?

                        BOTH Masters

F

WHAT makes this important?        G

No one of us can serve BOTH God and our Money

C

HOW is our service known?

                        In our focus

Am

Serving God or Money?

                        Can’t serve both

F                                                                   G

We will love and hold on…to one of them, and hate and despise the other

C

WHAT is our solution?

                        Take NO CARE

Am

WHERE do we do this?

                        In all things

F

WHY should we do this?                                   G

Our faith in God is proved by trusting His love and faith-ful-ness

C

WHERE should our trust be?

                        In Our Provider

Am

WHO knows our every need

                        Our Father

F

WHY is this important?                                G

To trust His love we must know, He acknowledges all our cares.

C

What does He give us?

                        Our clothing

Am

What does He give us?

Our food and drink

F

What does He give us?                  G

Our shelter, and He even gives us all our money.

C

WHAT don’t the birds do?

                        They sow not

Am

WHAT don’t the lilies do?

                        They toil not

F

WHAT is required of us?                                  G

Not to labor for our needs, but for God’s Kingdom

C

WHAT will we seek then?

                        His righteousness

Am

WHERE do we seek Him?

                        Within our hearts

F

WHERE do we trust Him?

                        Within our thoughts

G

WHERE do we show this?

                        In actions.

C

WHY do we do this?

                        We trust Him

Am

WHY do we trust Him

He’s faithful

F

How do we obey Him?                                                        G                                             C

We take no thought for our own life for we know that we’re important to God.
